  The paediatricians are wonderful here, but unfortunately the receptionist Sam, lets the whole team down with her complete and utter rudeness to Parents. I simply phoned up today to book an appointment and she didn't even answer the Phone 'Northern Children's Specialist centre' she said "could you hold"... I said pardon, to which she replied rudely, I said hold for a minute" and left me on the phone for 5 mins. When she finally came back on the phone she was rude again, so I told her how I felt, I told her that she was quite rude and I suggested she answer the phone using the name of the centre. She obviously didn't like receiving criticism as she attacked me verbally saying how dare you and who do you think you are? She spoke over the top of me while I was remained calm... I just kept saying you re very rude. She then hung up on me and 2 mins later rang me to hurl abuse at me, I just couldn't believe it. All the while she hurled abuse I just kept repeating "you are very rude" until she stopped and hung up on me again. I will not be returning because of this woman, she is the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever encountered.

  Excellent specialist rooms and staff! Our son is now 7 and Dr Allen has cared for him since birth his wealth of experience and friendly manner shine and we are so grateful for the truly dedicated care we have received! Special thanks to Sam the practice manager who is so efficient and a pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend Dr Allen Thank you!
